responsibilities:
the technician designer drafter assists the engineering staff in the creation and maintenance of technical design documentation‚ such as engineering drawings‚ cad models‚ change notices‚ and bills of material. this position may include ownership of small design projects as directed.

qualifications:
• 3+ years experience as designer/drafter in an equipment or machinery manufacturing company or a related industry.
• 3+ years experience creating service manual type documentation in equipment or machinery manufacturing company or a related industry.
• wo***ng familiarity with manufacturing processes:
ometal cutting
omachining
oforming
oassembly
• experience wo***ng with engineers on hydraulic and electrical schematic detailing
• ability to work effectively in a team environment
• sufficient analytical skill to convert vague concepts or instructions into drawings
• wo***ng knowledge of drafting standards.
• ability to work well under pressure.
• ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• able to read english.
• minimum three years experience in the following areas:
osoftware – solidworks‚ autocad‚ word‚ excel‚ acrobat
ocreation and maintenance of engineering models and bills of materials
